... story threads bring us to ... ... ... The doors of Camelot swung wide, and in came winter. A rider, green as forest fire, bearing no malice; only a challenge:
“Trade one blow for another; keep your promise, and meet me in a year and a day.”
They say the hall went silent. Even the hearth forgot to crackle. But Gawain stepped forward. That small act of courage that sets every story in motion. ... ... ...

... and the story thread here brings us to fiber threads that invite our hands into a tiny personal ritual ...
🧶 Fiber Magic Mini Ritual: The Green Thread Promise
Cut a strand of green ribbon or embroidery floss. Tie three knots: one for Courage, one for Truth, one for Grace. Wear it on your wrist until the Winter Solstice, remembering,
“I keep my vow beneath the snow.”
On Solstice Eve, burn it, releasing your promise to stay on the path of Light and Wisdom filled with courage, a sense of truth, and grace in deeds.
🌿 Gentle Invitation
Each myth begins with a question we secretly need to answer. In our upcoming class session on Nov 8th at Pathways St Louis, we’ll follow Gawain’s road through snow and shadow to discover what waits in our own Grail Castle. Call Pathways store to reserve your spot in class. See you there!
